ADDITIONAL SERVICES THREAD - There will be a $5.50 charge for thread and a new needle. There will be a $10.00 charge for variegated or multiple threads. BINDING - Hand binding can be provided for .15 cents per linear inch. PREP CHARGE - There will be a $20.00 prep charge if I need to iron, square or baste around bias edges. Hobbs heirloom 80/20 cotton/poly blend batting is available at Tomorrow's Quilts for $5.00 per yard. Customer-supplied batting is subject to approval prior to quilting. |
* QUILT PREPARATION * Quilt backing and batting MUST measure 4-6 inches wider than your quilt top on all four sides. DO NOT BASTE quilt by any method. Please SQUARE your quilt top. This is important to the final outcome of your quilt. PRESS your quilt top and backing well. Seams open or to one side. TRIM all loose threads on your quilt. They can show under light fabric and can cause uneven stitching. Borders that do not lay flat may cause tucks, pleats or fullness. I will try to ease it in. CHECK top for secure seams and areas that need mending. STITCH 1/4 inch from edge on all bias outside edges. |
